What does it take for skin to regenerate?

We do know that skin regenerates as long as we live. Since this is true, why do we develop long lasting or permanent skin discoloration, scars and wrinkles? Besides my own skin challenges, I am a mother of three children and practicing skin therapist.  Phrase "It is what it is" is not in my vocabulary. I always look for new solutions. That was how my skin care products, skin treatments and other tools were created.

In my personal and professional life I dealt with variety of situations from eczema, dry skin patches, acne scars, wrinkles, chemical/sunburns/fire-burns, bruises and healing skin after skin grafting surgeries. In all these cases, same solution worked like a miracle. Skin need these few components:

Sanitation

Deep Hydration

Moisture

Oxygen

exfoliation. (skip if skin is burned, sunburned, bruised..)

Skin will regenerate no matter if we help it or not. However, if we provide the right environment and support, it will heal faster and will less likely scar. Big mistake is to dry the surface with anti-bacterial creams or topical alcohol. Cells need to freely move to get the nutrients. Which Hazel or Rosewater are enough to keep bacteria away.

I also found that LED/Infrared light helps to speed up healing.  Just like plants, our skin and other body tissues have the ability to absorb light and convert it into energy.

As our skin is part of the whole body, diet does play a role in skin health. Plenty of vegetables, fresh vegetable juice, super-food smoothies, regular detox and probiotics are as important for the skin as it is for your health.

Lastly, be mindful of your thoughts and words. Everything, including you, and all around you is made of electromagnetic energy. If one strongly, with emotion, believes that something will or will not heal in their body, body will do exactly that. Think about the placebo effect. There were plenty of studies conducted to prove that human mind is the strongest medicine/tool to heal or to kill.

Meditation is a great way to relax body and mind. If you do meditate regularly, wonderful, and I don't have to tell you how life changing it is. If you tried, but were discouraged for whatever reason, try again. Keep trying, until you find the method that works for you. Sitting in silence is not for everyone, as well as group or guided are meditations are not for everyone ether.

If your mind feels too busy and you feel stressed, Reiki session could be very helpful. I have been using energy for healing myself and others for last 26 years. It was and still is my absolutely best tool to help my kids with anything they might need, to calm down, remove pain or speed up healing.
